For the 8th year, le Jardin chez Julie et Lova will offer weekly organic vegetable baskets subscriptions. Subscribers will get each week of the summer fresh organic vegetables directly from our farm. By subscribing you support local and environment-friendly agriculture. Your support is mostly your commitment for the whole season and the fact that part of your payment is made upfront.
On our side, we make sure to provide you with a weekly basket that is up to your expectations. For example, to reduce the risks associated to adverse weather we grow a wide variety of vegetables with different needs to have something adapted to the weather no matter how uncommon it is. Moreover, we grow some heat loving or rain fearing crops in a greenhouse or under rain covers. The basket season will span over 17 weeks from mid June (week of the 22nd) to the end of September.
Each week (if you are out of town for vacation you can ask beforehand to have double baskets in the weeks before or after you leave), you must come and pick up your vegetable basket at one of our distribution point. Their location are the following:
- Wednesday night from 16h to 18h30 directly at the farm (74, route 201, Coteau-du-Lac)
- Wednesday night from 16h to 18h30 at the Edgar-Hébert school (161, rue Saint-Thomas, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield)
- Thursday night from 16h to 18h30 at Mrs Lise Roy in Vaudreuil (47, rue St-Louis, Vaudreuil-Dorion)
You can subscribed right now by visiting the online registration page or you can download, print and mail us a paper version available here (french only)!
